2 months and 10 days....

If there was such thing as a support group for moms whose kids are undergoing their first round of immunizations...I could have used that a few hours ago. Rhett had his 2 month well-child exam and his 2 month old shots. He is actually about a week past the 2 month mark, but we missed the window on his birthday since we were out of town for the holidays..

Here is the little guy excited for the day...

And here he is after learning where I was taking him...
The appointment started out well, Rhett weighs in at a whopping 14 pounds and 4 ounces... (glad to know those night time feedings are not in vain)..and then the mean ol' nurse came in with a tray of needles...Needless to say, it was just as hard on me as it was him, but after a good cry (me) and a dose of children's Tylenol (him), Rhett came home to eat lunch with his daddy and was all smiles..and is now sleeping off the day... and I think I will go join him.

Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas. We had a great time in New Mexico with my family and will post pics soon!

I know what you mean. I made Matt come to hold Ashlyn down. I cried with only 1 shot, so I knew 4 would do me in. Happy New Year!

Oh Peachy! Call me anytime! I hate when they have to get those shots. It's so traumatizing for mom and baby! And Grady always runs a high fever for 3 days after it everytime! I dread it, but know it's good for him!
