So I have been putting off blogging, it downright intimidates me-but I have come to the conclusion that this must be the best way to keep family and friends "posted" on the lives of Los Robinsons (that means, "The Robinsons" as Porter would quip.) The past 1 1/2 months have been a whirlwind- beginning with the birth of our first born and new love, Rhett, and all adventures / adjustments that followed. From an October birth, visits from loved ones from South Carolina and our family nearby, celebrating birthdays and holidays and having fun at home: here is what we have been up to in a barrage of photos!

Trying to smile for the camera between contractions the evening of October 18th...

William Rhett arrives on October 19th with an arm stretched to his mom- oh this was my favorite moment of the whole birth!

Could not have made it through the delivery without my hubby, my coach!

First family photo, and yes I know...the eyebrows..
Proud grandparents, siblings and a few of our friends that came to visit:
Nana anxiously waiting for her first grandson!

Rhett's great grandmother who flew all the way to Texas just to hold and rock her grandson to sleep!

Porter's parents came for the birth and are posing with him with the pumpkin costume they brought!

Sarah and Jeff Anderson meet us in the hospital...

Rhett and his Uncle too-cool- Coleman watching the Texas game from the back deck...

Our good friends Kristi and Stephanie taking turns holding the new man in their lives..

Our friend Amy Taylor from New Braunfels...

Lindsey and her son Luke joined us for dinner on one of our first nights home..

Our good friend Dr. Matt Bayless already dropping his dental advice...

Rhett LOVES to sleep on his company..especially our friend Jill in from McAllen

Uncle Bill "U-B" and Rhett almost shared a birthday...(I tried..)

Papa Mike

Auntie Em in from Indiana!

Cousin Ellie and Aunt Kate pose on the front porch with us

Uncle Tyler paid us a visit over thanksgiving!
Even Dabo Swinney, Clemson's head football coach paid Rhett a visit via "Honorary" Athletic Scholarship he sent to him in the mail!
Last but not least... snapshots some of my favorite moments of our first few weeks home...
Rhett and his final weigh in...8 pounds 15 ounces!

Tyler and Porter on their way out for a Thanksgiving Hunt. Can you tell who's who?

EXHAUSTED after the following two costume changes on Halloween...

One of my best buds Julie pays us a visit with her adorable twin girls.

...like father like son...

Rhett locked in a stare with his grandad and the first of three generations of 'William Robinsons.'

Relaxing with mom after a DELISH Thanksgiving dinner...if I do say so myself

our friend and veteran mom giving us a crash course in baby wearing and swaddling after a rough first night home from the hospital

Uncle Cheo and dad watching the game while cousins meet..

rhett was not a happy camper after I SQUEEZED him into this outfit ...needless to say this won't make the Christmas card

Auntie Em helping Rhett with his gassy tummy...

Whew! I did it! Maybe a few crooked pictures...some out of order and some missing captions... but I think I got it down... More to come!!
