Things are looking up...

...At least Rhett is! This child hated tummy time, that is until this week when he finally was able to hold his head up! It was a relief for all of us...my doctor told me it was time to put the pedal to the medal and so after many sessions of playing on the floor, Rhett decided to show me his stuff on the changing table. I had to quickly put the camera down as he then proceeded to show me how he could also roll OFF the changing table. I guess that milestone is falling quickly behind this one.

On another note, it is finally here!...The long anticipated bookshelf that Porter and I have been on the hunt for. Rhett has received so many great books from family and friends ("Is Your Mama a Llama?"-my personal favorite), we have been desperate for a place to house them. And, if you know me, you know that I get excited about a piece of furniture like most girls get excited about a Coach purse or a Prada bag (neither of which I own, go figure)...so when this little hutch came in, I had no problem spending our Friday night watching Porter put it together ;) It is red- and I am not even into primary colors,but somehow they have made their way into Rhett's room (sorry, guy), and it works!
