Our lucky, lucky, selves!
I have to give it up to Porter- he spent three days shoveling top soil and laying sod on half of our half acre lot. I mention the size because to be honest.. comparing this task to our old house, I think Porter would admit that he did not realize what he was getting himself into- but he persevered and now we have a green yard taking root! On top of that...we lucked out with RAIN! Rain on freshly laid sod is "like holy water from above," as my neighbors says. Way to go Porter and thank you God for the RAIN!!
