Has it actually been a whole year (!) since I have last reeeeaaallly blogged? It seems like it was Labor Day last year when I put out a 'real' post. And here we are with another Labor Day weekend under our belt, and a new resolution to catch up and keep up! I have decided that blogging is kind of a creative outlet for me- and the best way I can keep track of some of our best years as a family.
So forgive the next few posts, they will read like those thick long Christmas cards you get every year from some crazy friend of yours that writes a whole page update on each family member including how many cub scout badges they earned. Well, I am about to do the same. Minus the badges. But plus a million other details.
So to start things off, we spent this past Labor Day saying goodbye to summer (yesssssss) with our first trip to a 'professional' baseball game. Well, the San Antonio Missions is as professional as we get around here. It was the first- day- of-school-eve, and a memorable outing!
Rhett was so thrilled with the whole experience, he spent the next few days napping with his ball and glove in hand.
And I can't get enough of this girl: Nina Lane was our trooper. She just sat there for a whopping 6+ innings. 3 more than what Porter and I counted on.
I wish I could say the same about her first day of school. There was one Robinson kid who was elated to start... and one who was, and still is not so sure...
Can you guess who?
