It being the 7th of July mean I need to take down my 4th of July decor?
I sure hope not. I am kind of dorky when it comes to holiday decorations and sometimes get made fun of for it. But I'll take it. I love the 4th.. all its pomp and circumstance. I kind of want to drag it out a bit longer.
After they headed back to Austin, we decided to forgo the park and went to a friends house in our neighborhood to watch the fireworks. Aside from the local radio station playing Mariah Carey as one of the theme songs for the fireworks show (seriously...), we had a great time! Rhett LOVED all the hooplah. Porter and I just loved getting to show up, sip a few virgin margaritas (me), drink a few beers (Porter), plop down on our chairs, and then ride home when it was done. Wallah!
Probably should not be riding and taking pictures preggo, eh?
The popsicle line up-
The view from the backyard party overlooking the park!
My little yankee doodle-
Those crazy cats-
I don't think our little neighbor buddy Eli realizes what a big deal it is for Rhett to offer up his Clemson cap.
It's HUGE.
Obviously sensing the lack of appreciation, Rhett moves on...
